How a ranking is made

  1. We find the businesses

    19,573 businesses assessed

    Google Maps results for each trade and area. Businesses that don't do the work are set aside.

  2. We score their reviews

    1,225,598 Google reviews behind the scores

    How good the reviews are, how many there are and how recent they are. The method is explained under How we rank

  3. We publish, then recheck

    3 November 2026 newest check

    Up to ten businesses a page, highest score first. Rechecked on a rolling cycle, about every two to three months.
